Getting beyond the usual Blue Mountains tourist trail has never been easier. Board the train from Sydney Central and watch the city give way to mountain villages, sandstone escarpments and sweeping valleys before arriving directly in Lithgow - where your Explore Lithgow guide will be ready to begin your day.

From there, we take you deeper into the Greater Blue Mountains,  visiting the Famous Lost City, Zig Zag Rail and Secret Creek Wildlife Sanctuary. Instead of spending your day moving between the busiest Sydney-facing attractions, you’ll discover a quieter side of the region: dramatic landscapes, native wildlife, heritage places and local stories, with the time and space to actually enjoy them.
